Random Acts of Flowers

CEO and founder of Random Acts of Flowers in Knoxville, Tennessee, Larsen Jay has been very generous with his time and wise words of wisdom to Floral Angels. He is our mentor. We reached out to him at the beginning of our journey as Random Acts of Flowers have been successfully repurposing flowers since 2008. We would love to emulate their success. The warm welcome we received in Knoxville from all the staff and volunteers when we visited and worked with them in September 2013 was overwhelming.

We have to thank Anne Bricklebank of Chrysal Uk for seeking us out in the early days and for generously giving us our first financial donation along with a supply of flower foam.  We look forward to working together.

Flowerona

The UK's top floral blogger, Rona Wheeldon of award-winning Flowerona has been one of the Floral Angels' first and most supportive Guardian Angels. Rona was the person we first went to when the concept of Floral Angels was still just a dream. Her story about us on Flowerona in July 2013 really got us off the ground. She has remained a source of wise advice and we look forward to her on-going support.

Shane Connolly

As Royal Warrant holder, along with his love of nature and conservation, Shane was one of the first florists we contacted believing that he would support our cause.  He was enthusiastic and encouraging from the start helping us overcome any problems. He was also responsible for getting our floral ball rolling by donating our first flowers and for introducing us to Pollen Crew who are an integral part of our success.  We feel extremely honoured to have his unwaivering support.

Simon Lycett

A major event florist in London, Simon has played a significant role in helping us negotiate with The New Covent Garden Flower Market as well as supplying us with a constant stream of beautiful flowers. His insider knowledge of the floristry/event industry is invaluable to us and we love knowing he is someone we can rely on to wave our flag and is such a strong supporter of our cause.
